Now, use the following command: dd.exe iflag=count_bytes if=/dev/zero of= count= Where should be the path where you want to put your data.img (i.e. Run a Command Prompt as administrator, and change your directory to where you extracted IMGTools. This is a Windows tutorial specifically, but the binaries for mke2fs and dd are widely available for Linux, and I imagine Mac as well.ĭownload this IMGTools.zip I have made which contains all of the stuff you need, and extract it to a folder somewhere. Hopefully this will help you, as this is how I managed to do it.
I've seen a lot of people saying that no matter how big their data.img is, the system will not recognize more than 4GB.
